iba AG expands condition monitoring segment

iba AG, a leading specialist for high-quality measurement systems for industry and energy, takes over the condition monitoring activities of the Austrian specialist for fluid, automation and building technology HAINZL. As of July 01, 2023, all business activities in the field of condition monitoring in heavy industry will thus be performed by the iba Group. Previously, the two companies had already cooperated very successfully in this field for ten years: Since 2013, the condition monitoring software developed by HAINZL worked hand in hand with the hardware developed by iba for recording vibration sensors and process values. The system created by this combination is a proven tool for users, operators and managers of industrial and production facilities and serves to lower repair costs, reduce production downtime and generally improve the production process itself. As a result of many successful projects and the increasing global market presence of the joint product, the demands for support and product innovation have continued to grow. With the successful takeover, iba AG is now meeting this challenge: "We have jointly decided to continue the business activities in the field of condition monitoring solely at iba AG. With this step, we want to ensure that our customers can be offered an even better service, more target-oriented consulting and more efficient project support. iba AG wants to continue and expand the customer relationships for condition monitoring systems that have been built up over the last ten years and the trust that has grown from this," says Dr. Ulrich Lettau, CEO at iba AG. As part of the business takeover, iba AG acquires the rights to the software developed by HAINZL and will continue to develop it further. In addition, the experienced staff previously employed by HAINZL will also join iba AG. In this way, the seamless continuation of current business operations and customer support is ensured.
